Quilmes Municipality issues ultimatum over abandoned lot

The Municipality of Quilmes has issued a formal notice to the owners of an abandoned lot located at the intersection of La Plata and Corrientes avenues in Quilmes Oeste. Following an inspection by the Secretariat of Security on August 19, 2026, authorities identified severe hygiene and safety violations, including excessive vegetation, weeds, and the irregular disposal of debris and demolition materials.

Owners have been granted five business days to regularize the property's condition. Failure to comply will result in the municipality performing the cleaning work and charging all operational costs directly to the property owners.
