Police dismantle cocaine bunker in Quilmes Oeste, Argentina
On 16 June 2026 police in Quilmes Oeste, Buenos Aires Province, raided a residential property and uncovered a drug‑storage bunker. The operation, conducted with a judicial search warrant, led to the arrest of two suspects, identified as 46‑year‑old Juan D. and 62‑year‑old Raquel C. Investigators seized nearly 300 doses of cocaine that had been pre‑packaged for sale, a digital precision scale, cutting tools, four mobile phones, cash and a notebook detailing daily cash movements. The raid also recovered two Bersa‑brand firearms with 15 rounds of 9 mm ammunition. Both detainees were taken into formal custody on charges of illegal possession of narcotics for trafficking and are pending further judicial proceedings.
