Quilmes renovates SAME Administrative Center with municipal funds

The municipality of Quilmes is conducting a comprehensive renovation and improvement project at the SAME (Sistema de Atención Médica de Emergencias) Administrative Center in Bernal Centro. The project, located at Maipú 359, is being funded entirely by municipal resources.

The renovation aims to enhance working conditions, safety, and hygiene for staff while strengthening the infrastructure supporting the municipal emergency service. Key improvements include the adaptation of workspaces, medication and supply storage areas, and the ambulance washing sector. Structural work involves repairing the roof to resolve interior leaks, as well as renewing floors, coatings, ceilings, sanitary facilities, internal divisions, and windows. Additionally, the project includes a full renewal of the electrical and lighting systems.

Interim Mayor Eva Mieri, accompanied by Health Secretary Natalia Nápoli and Urban Development Secretary Cecilia Soler, inspected the site. The facility serves as a critical hub housing the Medical Directorate, administrative areas, pharmacy, and mobile coordination, providing a base for emergency operators and ambulance logistics.
