Quilpué girl to visit NASA following high school attendance

Isabella Lara Zúñiga, a four-year-old student from the Millaray Kindergarten in Quilpué, has been awarded a trip to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, United States. The recognition comes after she was named the regional winner of the “Haz que Despeguen” contest in the Valparaíso Region, achieved by maintaining a 91% attendance rate during the first semester.

Fundación Educacional Oportunidad and Fundación Integra held a ceremony to honor Isabella’s commitment and her family’s support. During the event, Isabella received a diploma and a set of “Súper Asistencia” books, while the Millaray Kindergarten was presented with a commemorative plaque for its efforts in promoting regular school attendance.

In January 2027, Isabella will travel to the NASA facility alongside her mother and 17 other contest winners.
