Caixa lotteries: Mega-Sena prize reaches R$ 170 million

Caixa Econômica Federal has announced significant lottery updates for mid-October 2026. The Mega-Sena jackpot has accumulated to an estimated R$ 170 million for the upcoming draw on Sunday, October 18, following a draw on Wednesday where no player matched all six numbers. Due to a national holiday, the draw schedule was adjusted, with the next Mega-Sena contest (3071) set for 11:00 AM in São Paulo.

Other major lottery results include the Quina, where the prize has accumulated to approximately R$ 40 million for the next draw after no winners were found in recent contests. Additionally, the Lotofácil draw on Friday resulted in two winners in Bahia, each receiving R$ 806,564.34. The Dia de Sorte lottery also saw a winner in São Paulo, claiming R$ 462,533.46.

Players can place bets through physical lottery outlets or via official digital channels, including the Loterias Caixa website and app. For the Mega-Sena, simple bets cost R$ 6, while group bets (bolões) are also available.
