Quincy, Illinois Residents Jerry Holtschlag and Frank Heck Pass Away

Jerry Holtschlag, 62, of Quincy, Illinois, died on July 28, 2026 at Blessing Hospital. He co‑owned JH Concrete Construction with his brother Jack and is remembered for his community involvement, love of golf and family. Survivors include his wife Kim Proske Mills, three children and several grandchildren.

Frank Heck, 51, also of Quincy, died on July 25, 2026 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He owned and operated Heck Gaming and was active in local hunting and fishing groups. He is survived by his wife Greta Gustison, three children and extended family members.

Both obituaries were handled by Duker & Haugh Funeral Home, with services scheduled in early August 2026.
