Additionally, the university will hold a Music Visit Day on October 12 for high school students to tour the campus and rehearse with current musicians.

In the Quincy Mine area, the New Music in the Mine program will feature contemporary composers performed by the Michigan State University Digital Music Ensemble. Other local activities include the Hancock Farmer’s Market, art projects hosted by the Copper Country Associated Artists, and chair lift rides at Mont Ripley to view autumn foliage.
