American rider Quinn Simmons (Lidl‑Trek) captured his first win of the 2026 season on the fourth stage of the Tour Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alpes. The 167‑kilometre route ran from Le Puy‑en‑Velay to Montrond‑les‑Bains, where Simmons emerged from a ten‑rider breakaway to win the sprint ahead of Finn Fisher‑Black (Red Bull‑Bora‑Hansgrohe) and Mattéo Vercher (Total Energies).
