Quinnen Williams raises injury concerns for Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Quinnen Williams has raised injury concerns following the team’s recent win over the Washington Commanders. Williams described himself as ‘a little banged up’ during a media meeting after the game, noting that he had to take himself out of play on several occasions.
Speculation regarding his health intensified after analysts noted he appeared slow to recover during certain plays. This comes at a critical time for the Cowboys defense, which has already lost several starters, including safety Malik Hooker, linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, cornerback Cobie Durant, and safety PJ Locke, earlier in the season.
Despite the concerns, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones praised Williams as ‘one of the best players in the entire league’ and a cornerstone of the interior line. Jones denied that Williams is currently dealing with significant injury issues. Williams, who joined the team via trade from the New York Jets, recently signed a three-year, $105.9 million extension through 2030.
