Quinnipiac University Athletics reports record fundraising and program milestones
Quinnipiac University Athletics has reported a record-breaking fiscal year 2025–26, securing $2.87 million in total commitments and $2.58 million in cash support, a 44% increase over the previous year. The fundraising success was driven by a significant rise in donors, including a 13% increase in alumni and a 16% increase in parent support.
In other athletic developments, the men’s basketball program has launched a campaign to celebrate its 75th anniversary. The milestone, dating back to the 1951–52 season, will include an Alumni Day on February 21, 2026, and various social media initiatives to honor the program’s history and its 1,053 total wins.
The men’s soccer team is also entering a new season following a roster overhaul. After a 7-10-1 campaign in 2025, head coach Eric Da Costa is leading a squad that includes the largest freshman class in over 15 years, aiming to build on recent resilient performances against opponents like Providence and Yale.
