Quinnipiac University soccer teams secured victories in their recent Metro Conference matchups.

The men’s soccer team defeated Rider 1-0 in their conference opener. Linus Daeumler scored the decisive goal in the 41st minute following a deflection in the box. Goalkeeper Alexander Hansen recorded his first collegiate shutout, stopping all three shots on frame.

The women’s soccer team earned a 2-1 victory over Marist, marking their fourth win of the season. Stella Tosoni scored the opening goal in the 33rd minute after a successful video review overturned an initial foul call. The win was supported by defensive efforts from Bianca D’Onofrio and Marina Mahon.
