Quinta da Plansel to host wine and music event in Montemor-o-Novo

Quinta da Plansel will host the ‘After Summer Party’ on October 3 in Montemor-o-Novo, Alentejo. Organized in partnership with MERAZH, the event is designed to celebrate the end of the summer season through a combination of wine, local gastronomy, and music.

Attendees will have the opportunity to sample the estate’s portfolio, which focuses on Portuguese grape varieties. Featured wines include the Plansel Touriga Nacional, the Plansel Selecta Grande Escolha, and the Plansel Reserva Branco, a blend of Viosinho and Gouveio. The culinary offerings will be provided by local restaurants to complement the regional wines.

The musical lineup features Alentejo-linked artists, including FIXXEN, HOTTUNA, DJ Double Z, and ZINKO. The event begins at sunset (18:00) and continues until 02:00. Quinta da Plansel’s history in the region dates back to the 1970s, following the arrival of Jörg Böhm, and currently maintains an annual production of approximately 400,000 liters.
