Quintana Energy launches third drilling rig in Santa Cruz

Quintana Energy has deployed the VENVER-52 drilling rig in the Anticlinal Aguada Bandera area of Santa Cruz, marking the third drilling rig to be operational in the province. The project involves an estimated investment of USD 10 million and includes a campaign of five wells: four development drillings and one exploratory well targeting the D-129 Formation.

José Llugdar, Secretary General of the Sindicato de Petroleros Jerárquicos, attributed the recovery of the local hydrocarbon activity to concrete investment decisions and cooperation between the government, companies, and workers. The event was attended by Governor Claudio Vidal, Minister of Energy and Mining Jaime Álvarez, and Quintana Energy President Carlos Gilardone.
