Quintana Roo authorities issue property titles and prepare Chetumal urban works

The Strategic Projects Agency of the State of Quintana Roo (AGEPRO) has distributed property titles to residents in the Othón P. Blanco municipality, specifically in Chetumal and Xcalak. This initiative aims to provide legal certainty and secure the assets of local families under the state's welfare and development framework.

Separately, the Quintana Roo state government is preparing to temporarily relocate approximately 87 government workers due to the upcoming ‘Barrio Mágico’ project in Chetumal. The urban development plan includes remodeling the Explanada, rescuing the Manuel Ávila Camacho Theater, and enhancing the city's Anglo-Caribbean identity. Officials are currently evaluating a temporary building to house administrative and public-facing offices, such as the Public Registry and tax collection services, to ensure safety and continuity of service during construction.
