Cancún authorities seize firearms, drugs in coordinated raids
Federal, state and municipal police detained a man and a woman in Supermanzana 51 of Cancún, identifying them as Leidy Tatiana N and Jesús Douglas N. During the stop officers seized a .380‑calibre pistol with a loaded magazine and 16 cartridges, several small bags of a green herb resembling marijuana, and a white vehicle bearing Puebla‑state licence plates.
In a separate operation, agents swept a printing shop in Supermanzana 218, also in Cancún, under a judicial search warrant linked to alleged drug trafficking. The premises were placed under seizure; officials have not announced any arrests or the nature of seized items.
