Quintana Roo Governor returns 12 stolen vehicles to owners
Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa led the return of 12 recovered vehicles to their owners at the C5 Security Complex in Quintana Roo. The recovered units consist of nine motorcycles, one mototaxi, and two pickup trucks.
As part of the state Security Board's coordinated efforts, the vehicles were returned directly to the owners without requiring them to pay towing fees or impound costs. Additionally, owners received GPS devices to help prevent future thefts.
Authorities noted that some vehicles were stolen while parked, while others were taken through violent means. Lezama stated that several individuals are already facing legal proceedings related to these thefts and emphasized the necessity of filing official reports to facilitate investigations and asset recovery.
