Quintana Roo hotels receive MICHELIN Keys in 2026 selection

The MICHELIN Guide has announced its 2026 selection of hotels, marking an expansion of recognized properties in Mexico. The country now features 98 recognized hotels following the addition of 12 new properties to the guide.

In Quintana Roo, several new establishments received MICHELIN Keys. NIZUC Resort & Spa in Cancún earned its first MICHELIN Key, making it the only hotel in Cancún to simultaneously hold a MICHELIN Key and a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating. Other new additions in the region include Casa Las Tortugas Petit Beach Hotel & Spa in Isla Holbox, as well as La Zebra, NABOA Hotel, and Sana Tulum in Tulum.

The MICHELIN Key distinction evaluates hotels based on five universal criteria: architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, personality and character, value for money, and the property's contribution to its destination or environment.
