Quintana Roo joins Semilleros de la Honestidad program
Quintana Roo has joined the Semilleros de la Honestidad program, an initiative by the Mexican Secretariat of Anti-Corruption and Good Government. The program aims to strengthen civic education and promote values such as honesty, respect, solidarity, and responsibility among children through classroom activities.
The program was launched at the Mágico Bacalar kindergarten, featuring interactive dynamics and stories involving characters named Toño, Naye, and Tec. Officials including Alejandro Encinas Najera, the federal Undersecretary of Good Government, and Reyna Arceo Rosado, head of the state's anti-corruption secretariat, participated in the event.
This initiative complements existing efforts in the region, such as the Guardianes de la Honestidad program, which has been working with primary school students in Quintana Roo since 2024.
