Quintana Roo offers 250,000 pesos for information on missing taxi driver

The Quintana Roo State Attorney General's Office (FGE) has announced a 250,000 peso reward for information leading to the location of Adrián Abraham Tun Pinto, a taxi driver who has been missing since December 2021.

Tun Pinto was intercepted by armed, hooded individuals in a vehicle in the Centro neighborhood of Chetumal while driving his Volkswagen Jetta. His taxi was later found abandoned in the Vallehermoso community within the Bacalar municipality in early January 2022.

Authorities have already detained and charged Dimas Alexander “N” for his alleged involvement in the disappearance. According to Prosecutor Raciel López Salazar, the suspect is believed to be part of a criminal group that had previously threatened the victim after he refused to assist in drug distribution using his vehicle.
