Quintero Mayor presents strategic infrastructure projects to Chilean officials

Mayor Rolando Silva Fuentes of Quintero met with Undersecretary for the Armed Forces Christian Bolívar Romero and Senator Andrés Longton Herrera to discuss three strategic development projects. The initiatives require coordination with the Ministry of Defense due to their location on land under the ministry's administration.

The proposed projects include the recovery and enhancement of the FACH Pier to create a new tourism hub, the paving of the Borde Costero road between Quintero and Loncura to improve connectivity and evacuation routes, and the establishment of a municipal park on approximately 16 hectares of forested land at the former Loncura powder magazine.
