Automundo 2026 to host major automotive exhibition in Quito

The 22nd edition of Automundo 2026 will take place from October 15 to 18 at the Metropolitan Convention Center in Quito, Ecuador. Organized by the Association of Automotive Companies of Ecuador (Aeade), the event celebrates the guild's 80th anniversary.

The exhibition will cover 18,700 square meters, featuring more than 300 vehicle models from over 50 brands. The lineup includes approximately 290 light vehicles and 15 heavy or commercial vehicles, with a focus on diverse propulsion technologies: 140 combustion models, 105 hybrids, and 60 electric vehicles. More than 80 new models are expected to be launched during the fair.

In addition to vehicle displays, the event will host around 60 businesses related to spare parts, accessories, maintenance, technology, and financing. The program includes a test drive zone and educational talks regarding mobility, innovation, and industry trends.
