Quito opens registration for Reina de Quito 2026 pageant

The Fundación Reina de Quito has opened the registration process for the 2026-2027 Reina de Quito pageant. Applications are open from September 9 until October 5 via the foundation's website.

Candidates must be born in Quito, aged between 19 and 26, single, and have experience in volunteer work. Applicants are also required to be currently pursuing higher education or to have completed a degree. A central requirement for the application is the submission of a social project, presented in a PDF format of no more than five pages.

The selection process includes the presentation of semifinalist projects on October 13, followed by official candidate presentations on November 10. The final election is scheduled for November 25, 2026, at the Teatro Bolívar in the historic center. The winner will dedicate a full year to voluntary work and social initiatives benefiting the city.
