Quito hosts FTC Live al Parque festival featuring Maroon 5

The FTC Live al Parque festival is scheduled to take place this Saturday, August 29, at Parque Bicentenario in Quito. The event features a lineup of international artists including Maroon 5, Myke Towers, Yandel Sinfónico, Lost Frequencies, and Fruko y sus Tesos, alongside local talent.

To support the festival, which expects approximately 17,715 attendees, the Municipality of Quito has implemented a special mobility plan. The Quito Metro will extend its service hours until 02:00 on Sunday, and the Trolebús will deploy bi-articulated units to facilitate transportation from El Labrador to the Quitumbe Terminal.

Local authorities are utilizing these large-scale international spectacles as part of a broader strategy to boost the city's tourism and economic activity. Previous major concerts in the city have demonstrated significant economic returns for local sectors such as hotels, restaurants, and transport.
