Quizila celebrates 28 years with original music show in Ilhéus

The Ilhéus-based band Quizila will celebrate its 28th anniversary with a special performance titled ‘Quizila toca Quizila’ this Saturday at Pub Delicious in Pontal. The event marks the release of their new EP, ‘Guias’.

The concert is designed to focus exclusively on the band's original repertoire, responding to audience requests to hear more of their own compositions rather than covers. The setlist will span various stages of the group's history, including tracks from their first EP, the 2017 album ‘Orgânico Vivo’, the new ‘Guias’ EP, and several previously unrecorded songs.

Formed in the mid-1990s and beginning public performances in 1998, the current lineup includes Fabrício Vasconcelos on vocals, Binho Ribeiro on guitar, Danilo Ornelas on bass, and Lula Soares Lopes on drums. The event is produced by Aquilomba and will feature an opening set by DJ Seu Múcio.
