QuizKnock and Kanji Kentei Foundation launch collaborative Kanji test
QuizKnock, an entertainment and educational media platform operated by baton Inc., has partnered with the Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation to release the ‘QuizKnock Kanji Test’. This collaboration is part of the ‘QuizKnock 10th Anniversary Project’ as the platform approaches its tenth year in October 2026.
The special Kanji test consists of 10 selected questions drawn from QuizKnock’s web media and YouTube history. The problems range from simple writing exercises to riddles, illustration-based Kanji quizzes, and combined Kanji puzzles, designed to test both knowledge and intuition. The difficulty levels span from Kanji Kentei Grade 8 (elementary school level) to Grade 1 (university/general level).
Each question includes explanations and the corresponding Kanji Kentei grade required to solve it. The test materials are available for download on the Kanji Kentei website and are also distributed at the Kanji Museum in Kyoto.
