Quảng Ngãi reprimands 17 commune chairpersons for meeting misconduct

The Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People's Committee, Nguyễn Đức Tâm, has issued a formal reprimand to 17 commune chairpersons for failing to adhere to meeting protocols.

The disciplinary action follows a conference held on October 1, 2026, aimed at resolving difficulties for local businesses and investors. During the session, officials noted that several local representatives attended online meetings late or left before the proceedings had concluded.

The reprimanded communes include Ia Chim, Sa Loong, An Phú, Ba Động, Ba Gia, Nghĩa Hành, Đăk Rve, Ngọc Linh, Đăk Tờ Kan, Bình Minh, Đông Trà Bồng, Sa Bình, Trường Giang, Bình Chương, Tây Trà, Sơn Linh, and Sơn Hà.

Chairman Nguyễn Đức Tâm has ordered heads of departments, agencies, and local units to immediately rectify administrative discipline. He emphasized that local leaders must ensure accurate registration and full attendance at meetings, noting that heads of agencies will be held directly responsible for any further violations.
