Quảng Trị grants sea area rights for PTSC Hòn La port pier construction

The Quảng Trị Provincial People's Committee has granted the use of nearly 1 hectare of sea area to the PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) for the construction of Pier No. 2 at the PTSC Hòn La port in Phú Trạch commune.

The project involves a total investment of 220 billion VND. The new pier will be 25 meters wide and 90 meters long, designed to accommodate vessels with a capacity of 35,000 DWT. The sea area usage rights are granted until March 19, 2075.

PTSC representatives stated that the pier is a strategic infrastructure project intended to expand port capacity and optimize maritime operations. The development is expected to support trade in oil and gas services and renewable energy, contributing to the economic growth of Quảng Trị province.
