Quỳnh Dị Fish Sauce Cooperative preserves traditional fermentation methods

The Quỳnh Dị Fish Sauce Cooperative in Nghệ An province is maintaining traditional production methods to preserve local heritage. Led by Director Trần Văn Tuấn, the cooperative utilizes a nearly two-year fermentation process using fresh anchovies and salt to produce high-quality fish sauce.

In 2023, the cooperative’s products received a 3-star OCOP (One Commune One Product) certification. This recognition has enabled the cooperative to invest in facilities, standardize production processes, and upgrade packaging to meet modern food safety and traceability requirements while expanding its market presence.
