Quoc Hoc Hue High School marked its 130th anniversary, celebrating its establishment in 1896 under Emperor Thanh Thai. The historic institution, located in the former capital of Hue, was honored with the Third-Class Independence Order during the commemoration.
Renowned for its Indochinese architectural style, the school features distinctive deep red buildings and arched doorways. It has served as a significant educational landmark, producing numerous prominent Vietnamese leaders, scientists, and cultural figures, including President Ho Chi Minh and General Vo Nguyen Giap.
Between 2016 and 2026, the school maintained a 100% high school graduation rate and achieved significant success in national and international academic competitions, including multiple Olympic medals.
