Qupera launches AI telephone assistant for small businesses
Christo Cherian, a student of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at Klagenfurt University, has founded the company Qupera to assist small businesses with telephone management. The startup has developed 'Lisa', a digital AI telephone assistant designed to handle customer calls, provide information on opening hours and services, and manage appointments by scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling them directly in a business's calendar.
Lisa is a multilingual assistant capable of communicating in German, English, Slovenian, and Italian, with a response time of approximately half a second. The tool is aimed at owner-operated small businesses such as medical practices, veterinary clinics, workshops, and hair salons. To ensure data privacy, Qupera utilizes servers and databases located primarily in Germany and within the EU.
