QuratedLab offers free cybersecurity support in Fukushima and Chiba

QuratedLab, an AI lab jointly operated by ReIT LLC and Design L LLC, has launched an initiative to provide free vulnerability countermeasures for websites and web services. The program specifically targets small to medium-sized enterprises, sole proprietors, organizations, and local governments located in Fukushima and Chiba prefectures.

The support includes investigating the technologies and versions used in a service, determining if they are susceptible to known vulnerabilities, providing guidance or performing updates to corrected versions, and checking for signs of unauthorized intrusion. This initiative aims to assist regional entities that may lack dedicated IT maintenance staff or those who have lost contact with their original web development agencies.

While the service is free of charge and has no set deadline or limit on the number of applicants, it excludes large-scale renovations, complete website rebuilds, or ongoing continuous maintenance. QuratedLab intends to leverage its expertise in AI-driven development and operations to prevent regional businesses from facing service shutdowns or security breaches caused by unpatched vulnerabilities.
