Qusra residents report months of militant settler attacks in West Bank FAST-MOVING

Palestinian families in the West Bank village of Qusra report facing months of increasingly violent attacks by militant settlers. Residents state that homes have been under siege for nearly a week, with some families forced to install metal fences and window bars for protection. One resident, Marmar Ouda, reported that his nephew was shot and killed by a settler five months ago.

In response to the situation, the United States has called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to publicly condemn the actions of militant settlers. Rights groups in Israel have alleged that the current far-right coalition government has granted settlers near impunity.

The Israeli military stated that soldiers have been deployed in Qusra since Thursday to maintain security and protect residents. Israeli police and military officials have not yet provided comments regarding specific recent incidents.
