R. J. Decker Season 2, Episode 3 follows Emi Ochoa's murder charge

The third episode of R. J. Decker's second season, titled ‘Arms and Armadillos’, follows the investigation into the murder of Victor Ochoa. Emi Ochoa has been arrested after state investigators claim to have found the murder weapon in her home, leading to murder charges. While District Attorney Janis Lake offers Emi a plea deal, Emi refuses and is released on bail.

As R. J. Decker and Mel Abreu work to prove Emi's innocence, a mysterious stranger named Augustine approaches R. J. with an offer to help find the real killer in exchange for $50,000. Augustine claims he searched the home prior to the police search and saw no weapon. The episode also provides previews for upcoming episodes ‘The Angler’ and ‘Better Luck Tomorrow’.
