R. J. Decker season 2 to premiere on ABC in September 2026

ABC has announced that the second season of the crime drama ‘R. J. Decker’ will premiere on September 15, 2026. The series, inspired by Carl Hiaasen’s novel ‘Double Whammy’, follows a former newspaper photographer and ex-convict turned private investigator in South Florida.

Season 2, titled ‘The Point of Us Breaking’, will feature Scott Speedman returning as the titular character. The plot involves a reunion with a former prison acquaintance that leads to a series of bank heists amidst the fallout of Victor Ochoa’s death. The premiere will also feature guest appearances from ‘Dancing with the Stars’ personalities, including Jenna Johnson, Joey Graziadei, and Val Chmerkovskiy. New episodes are scheduled to air on Tuesdays at 10pm ET/PT and will be available for streaming on Hulu.
