Žďár nad Sázavou introduces new traffic and parking rules
Žďár nad Sázavou is implementing new traffic signage and parking regulations to improve road safety and clarity. The project includes the designation of 139 official parking spaces in areas such as the city center, Průmyslovka, and the vicinity of the polyclinic.
While new rules will dictate that drivers may only park in clearly marked spots, officials have confirmed that parking will remain free of charge. The updates also involve creating 30 km/h speed zones in certain residential areas and introducing new one-way streets. The work is expected to be completed by December 21, though progress depends on weather conditions. Authorities have warned that vehicles obstructing work in designated areas may be towed at the owner's expense.
