Þór secures victory against Stjarnan to boost promotion hopes

In Icelandic football, Þór secured a significant victory against Stjarnan, moving closer to securing a spot in the Besta deild. Coach Sigurður Heiðar Höskuldsson noted that despite a 2-1 lead at halftime, he had to motivate his players due to poor decision-making and defensive lapses in the first half.

Following the halftime adjustment, the team improved significantly in the second half. Höskuldsson highlighted the performance of three young players, aged 17, 18, and 18, who scored the team's goals. Þór now faces FH in their final match to determine their promotion status.
