R. STAHL opens software development office in Tunis

Industrial group R. STAHL, a global specialist in explosion protection solutions, has officially opened a new office in Tunis, Tunisia. The facility is dedicated to software development and digital services, aimed at accelerating the deployment of the company’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) models.

The site is intended to eventually evolve into a Shared Service Center (SSC). The initial team in Tunis is focused on developing software tailored to specific business requirements and expanding the group’s digital service offerings. This expansion supports the company’s ‘high-mix, low-volume’ production model and end-to-end customer processes.

Tobias Popp, a member of the executive board, stated that the decision to locate in Tunisia was driven by the availability of solid expertise and motivated talent. The company aims to merge its core competency in explosion protection with advanced digitalization to integrate its products more deeply into its customers' digital workflows.
