R Truck-France unveils Kodiak 6x6 luxury expedition truck

R Truck-France has developed the Kodiak 6x6, an 11-meter-long luxury expedition truck designed for extreme off-road travel. Built on a Renault Trucks K chassis, the vehicle features a permanent 6x6 all-wheel-drive system and a 13-liter six-cylinder diesel engine producing 440 HP and 2,500 Nm of torque, paired with a twelve-speed automated transmission.

Engineered for heavy-duty terrain, the truck has a gross weight of 26 tons, 515 mm of ground clearance, and differential locks on all three axles. It is equipped with Michelin tires and a central tire pressure regulation system.

The living quarters measure 7.55 meters in length, providing approximately 18 square meters of space. The interior is outfitted with high-end materials such as leather and Alcantara, featuring four sleeping berths, a separate bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, and a fully equipped kitchen including an induction cooktop and Miele appliances. For long-term autonomy, the vehicle includes a 1,000-liter fresh water tank, solar modules providing up to 3,000 watts, and a 6,000-watt diesel generator.
