Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Health Group conducts field visits to Khemisset

The Director General of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Territorial Health Group has conducted a second field visit to the Khemisset province in less than a week. The mission aimed to assess the current state of local health institutions, identify critical shortages, and determine priority needs to improve medical service delivery.

Accompanied by a delegation of medical and academic experts, including professors of higher education and specialists in fields such as anesthesia, obstetrics, psychiatry, pulmonology, and pediatrics, the visit included inspections of the Khemisset Hospital, the multidisciplinary examination center, and the mental health unit at the Salam Center.

The initiative seeks to strengthen coordination between local health professionals and university medical staff to facilitate knowledge exchange and scientific supervision. This movement is part of a broader health system reform designed to integrate various components of health offerings at the territorial level, improve patient care pathways, and reduce the need for patients to travel outside the province for specialized treatment.
