Rabat to host 2026 National Congress of Optics and Eyewear

Rabat is set to host the third edition of the National Congress of Optics and Eyewear (CNOL) on October 9 and 10, 2026. Held at the Mohammed VI Foundation for Education conference center, the event will focus on the theme “Vision without borders: cooperation and knowledge sharing.”

The congress aims to bring together Moroccan and African professionals, international experts, and institutional representatives to discuss innovations, professional practices, and visual health challenges. A new continental dimension for this edition will facilitate the exchange of expertise between African delegations and Moroccan practitioners.

Key highlights include the participation of the SILMO Academy, an international platform providing scientific content, masterclasses, and professional workshops. The Moroccan Ministry of Health and Social Protection will also participate to foster dialogue regarding visual health prevention and screening.
