Rabi Lamichhane calls for accountability from Nepal’s young political leaders

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane has characterized the increased presence of young people in Nepal’s Parliament as a historic political development. Speaking at an event in Kathmandu, Lamichhane noted that while the representation of youth is a rare opportunity, the mere presence of young leaders will not automatically fulfill the aspirations of the people.

Lamichhane emphasized that the younger generation must now take on greater responsibility and demonstrate their ability through action rather than shifting blame to older generations for the country’s challenges. He cautioned that young leaders can no longer use the lack of opportunity as an excuse and must show respect for experienced leaders while addressing the significant work ahead.
