Rabobank provides funding for Dutch community initiatives
Rabobank is providing financial support to local community initiatives in the Netherlands through its Clubsupport and Stimuleringsfonds programs.
In the Gooi en Vechtstreek region, Rabobank has granted 4,500 euros to Stichting Vier het Leven. The foundation aims to reduce loneliness among seniors aged 70 and older through its ‘Cultuur inspireert, activeert en verbindt’ project. During the 2026-2027 theater season, the foundation plans to organize approximately 200 outings, including visits to theaters, concerts, films, and museums. A network of over 100 volunteers will provide door-to-door assistance to ensure participants can remain socially and culturally active.
Additionally, IJsvereniging Hard Gaat-ie Wij has received 4,152.25 euros via Rabobank Clubsupport. The funds are designated to improve the association's spraying installation. Specifically, the money will be used to install a guide to ensure the spray boom returns to its starting position correctly, preventing mechanical issues during nighttime operations. The association also plans to implement a logbook to monitor water usage and weather conditions to further optimize the system for future winter seasons.
