Rabot Energy secures 50 million euros in Series B funding

Hamburg-based climate tech startup Rabot Energy has secured 50 million euros in a Series B funding round. The investment was led by Endeit Capital and the DeepTech & Climate Fonds (DTCF), with participation from existing investors including HV Capital, High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Bosch Ventures, CNI, Acurio Ventures, and vent.io.

The company aims to use the capital to expand its services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Germany. A primary goal is to scale its customer base toward one million by connecting home batteries, electric vehicle chargers, and heat pumps into a virtual power plant. This system allows devices to charge when renewable energy is abundant and discharge when it is scarce.

Since its launch in 2021, Rabot Energy has grown to serve over 200,000 customers, providing more than 600 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity. The company reported revenue of 200 million euros, noting that its customers—including approximately 15,000 business and industrial clients—saved a combined 45 million euros in 2025 compared to standard utility prices.
