Racławice Śląskie to build supported housing for people with disabilities

A contract has been signed for the construction of five supported apartments in Racławice Śląskie, costing approximately 2.97 million PLN. The project aims to provide housing for people with disabilities, mental health disorders, the elderly, and the chronically ill, facilitating a shift toward deinstitutionalization by allowing residents to live more independently with tailored social and daily assistance.

The new facility, located on Zwycięstwa Street, will be designed for individuals with limited mobility and will include common areas, a room for support staff, a garden, and eco-friendly features such as heat pumps and photovoltaic installations. The contractor, Przedsiębiorstwo Remontowo-Budowlane ‘Murex’, has 15 months to complete the design and construction.
