Race for the Cure registration begins in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Registration has begun across 21 cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the ‘Race for the Cure,’ a humanitarian walk and run dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness and supporting patients.

The main event is scheduled for September 26, 2026, at the Sarajevo City Center plateau in Sarajevo. Local associations, including ‘Narcis’ in Široki Brijeg and ‘Biser’ in Goražde, are coordinating efforts to encourage participation.

Funds raised through registration fees are used to support the work of these associations, including educational lectures in schools, preventive screenings, and providing essential psychosocial support through psychologists for women undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment.
