Rachel Chinouriri releases new single ‘Broken chair’

Musician Rachel Chinouriri has released a new single titled ‘Broken chair’, which is featured on her upcoming second album, ‘I think I spoke too soon’. The album is scheduled for release on October 16, 2026, via Atlas Artists and Parlophone Records.

Written in Los Angeles with musician Lucy Dacus, the track features an arpeggiated synth line and a dance-floor ready beat. Chinouriri noted that working with Dacus provided reassurance regarding her personal identity and values. The upcoming album was recorded in London, Hereford, and Los Angeles, further developing her alternative indie-pop sound.

Chinouriri has also released a music video for the track ‘One song away from crying’, which she describes as an introspective look at personal values and the importance of self-forgiveness.
