Rachel Chinouriri releases new single ‘One Song Away From Crying’ ahead of album I Think I Spoke Too Soon

British singer‑songwriter Rachel Chinouriri has issued the synth‑pop single “One Song Away From Crying,” describing it as a reflection on an internal conflict experienced at a party. The track serves as the lead single for her second studio album, I Think I Spoke Too Soon, scheduled for release on 16 October 2026 through Parlophone/Atlas Artists.

The album was written and recorded in London, Hereford and Los Angeles with collaborators including APOB, Mary Weitz, Glen Roberts, Daniel Hylton‑Nuamah, Lucy Dacus and Eli Teplin, marking a stylistic shift from her 2024 debut. To promote the album, Chinouriri will perform intimate shows in cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Dublin, London, Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Sydney and Melbourne.
