Rachel Dratch and Jeff Hiller join Encores! musical cast

Rachel Dratch and Jeff Hiller have joined the cast of the upcoming New York City Center Encores! production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”. Dratch will play Patty, while Hiller will portray Schroeder. They join a cast that includes David Hyde Pierce as Charlie Brown, Danielle Brooks as Lucy, Ayo Edebiri as Snoopy, and Jin Ha as Linus. The production, directed by Sam Pinkleton, will run from February 3 to February 14, 2027, and will present the original 1967 version of the musical.

Additionally, Encores! has announced a change to its upcoming schedule. The previously planned production of “Hallelujah, Baby!” has been postponed to a future season to allow for further creative development. In its place, the company will present “Let ‘Em Eat Cake”, a 1933 Gershwin political satire musical. This production will be directed by Zack Winokur in association with Opera Philadelphia and is scheduled for March 17–28, 2027.
