Rachel Griffiths joins cast of Wentworth: Halfway Home

Rachel Griffiths and Sophie Lowe have joined the cast of ‘Wentworth: Halfway Home’, an upcoming Australian original drama series for BINGE and Foxtel. Currently filming in Melbourne, the series serves as a spin-off and continuation of the ‘Wentworth’ universe.

Griffiths will portray Moira, a glamorous resident of Sal’s Halfway House who was convicted of fraud following the collapse of her high-society lifestyle. Lowe will play Sam, a former stalker now on parole. They join returning cast members Katrina Milosevic, Nicole da Silva, and Kate Box.

The plot follows the character Boomer as she attempts to build a new life and gain custody of her daughter while residing at the halfway house. The narrative introduces tension when a body is discovered, creating distrust among the residents.
