Rachel Ojuromi debuts for Chanel at Paris Fashion Week

Rachel Ojuromi, a 22-year-old from Lagos, Nigeria, has made her professional modeling debut on the Chanel runway during Paris Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2027 collection.

Ojuromi gained attention through viral social media content, where she and stylist Debby Fasingha used local brands and second-hand clothing to recreate high-fashion looks in the streets and markets of Lagos. Her videos, filmed by photographer Odey Ikp, eventually caught the eye of Chanel's creative director, Matthieu Blazy.

During her debut at the Grand Palais, Ojuromi wore signature Chanel tweed pieces in canary yellow and grey, including a structured jacket and midi skirt.
